Hot forming should be performed within a temperature range between 1600 Degree F and 2250 Degree F (870 Degree C – 1230 Degree C) with heavier sections heated to a minimum of 2000 Degree F before forming.

Parts which have been hot - formed should be solution heat - treated prior to final fabrication or installation, if possible.
