ASTM A240 S30409, also known as 304H stainless steel, is a high-carbon variant of the popular 304 stainless steel grade.

Phosphorus (P): ≤0.045%

Sulfur (S): ≤0.030%

Nitrogen (N): ≤0.10%

Tensile Strength: ≥515 MPa (75,000 psi)

Yield Strength: ≥205 MPa (30,000 psi)

Elongation: ≥40%

Hardness: ≤201 HBW
